Every new patient begins with a 60-minute comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. During this appointment, we discuss your symptoms, medical history, mental health history, previous treatments, medications, sleep, lifestyle, and how your concerns affect your work, school, relationships, and daily life.
Because many psychiatric and medical conditions share similar symptoms, our goal is to understand the complete picture before making diagnostic or treatment recommendations. Online Psychiatric Medication Management
Mental health treatment doesn't end after your first appointment. We provide 30-minute telehealth follow-up visits to monitor your progress, assess how well your treatment is working, discuss any concerns or side effects, and adjust medications when clinically appropriate.
These follow-up appointments are an important part of your care and help ensure that your treatment continues to meet your needs as your symptoms, goals, and circumstances change over time.
Thoughtful and Responsible ADHD Medication Management
When clinically appropriate, we prescribe both stimulant and non-stimulant medications for ADHD.
Because stimulant medications are classified as controlled substances, we follow all applicable federal and Texas laws, professional guidelines, and responsible prescribing practices. Every prescribing decision is based on a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, an accurate diagnosis, ongoing clinical monitoring, and your individual medical history.
Our practice also maintains an active collaborative relationship with a Texas-licensed Psychiatrist (MD), providing physician collaboration and clinical oversight as part of our commitment to delivering safe, high-quality psychiatric care.
An Appointment Does Not Guarantee a Prescription
A psychiatric appointment does not guarantee that medication will be prescribed or that a specific medication will be recommended. At Keystone Adult and Adolescent Psychiatry, we prioritize safe, thoughtful, and responsible prescribing practices. Medication recommendations are based on the findings of your comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, your diagnosis, medical and psychiatric history, current medications, treatment goals, and overall safety.
In some cases, medication may not be necessary or may not be the most appropriate treatment. Our goal is not simply to prescribe medication, but to determine what treatment is clinically appropriate for you and develop a plan that supports your long-term health and quality of life.

We aim to make accessing psychiatric care as straightforward and transparent as possible. Keystone Adult & Adolescent Psychiatry offers both insurance-based appointments and self-pay options to accommodate a variety of patient needs.
